2-in-1 hydration

Epaderm Cream is an water-based emollient which can be used in two different ways:

  • Direct to the skin
  • As a skin cleanser.

Watch our quick video for top tips on how to use as well as the recommended amount to use depending on the area of the body

Direct to Skin

Direct to Skin

Epaderm Cream can be applied immediately after washing to counteract the loss of essential oils from the skin. It should be applied generously and frequently – even when the skin has improved.

Directions: apply Epaderm Cream directly onto the skin in the direction of hair growth, this will reduce the risk of blocking hair follicles.

As a Substitute for Soap

As a Substitute for Soap

When caring for dry skin conditions, The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends washing with emollients rather than detergents or soaps, as these can increase water loss from the skin. Using Epaderm Cream as a skin cleanser helps ensure that dry skin can be properly washed, without losing additional moisture.

Directions: dispense a small amount onto your hand, lather under warm water and then use as a normal soap.

How Much to Use

A measure of Epaderm Cream equals 1 x pump (500g) or 3 x pumps (50g, 150g)

It is important to note that there is no limit to how much Epaderm you can use. The below is a guide and will vary based on body size and dryness of skin. We recommend to start with a smaller amount and build up to what is right for you and your skin.

Face, Ears, Neck 1/2 - 1 measure twice a day

Arms 1 - 2 measure twice a day

Back 1 - 2 measure twice a day

Torso 1 - 2 measure twice a day

Legs 3 - 4 measure twice a day

Hands 1/4 - 1/2 measure twice a day

For children under ten years of age we would recommend half the above amounts.

Nicola's Story

During her childhood, Nicola remembers taking numerous trips back and forth to the doctors for her eczema where she’d get clay bandages for her legs to try and reduce the flares. Entering her teenage years, her eczema only seemed to get worse.

“I’ve learned to accept my eczema and love my skin even when it is flared. That was the biggest shift in my mindset and as such, I have so much more confidence in who I am.”

Complete skin transformation

"I have suffered with perioral dermatitis since mid covid 2021, it’s been a rough journey battling with my skin; using products from every brand under the sun. I picked up Epaderm at a pharmacy after I forgot my usual cream on a trip away from home; to be honest the only thing that made me pick it up was the fact it had mentioned being good for dry skin and that it was fairly costed. Since using Epaderm my skin has cleared completely and is the best it’s looked since pre covid. I notice a huge difference even on days when I don’t use the cream. I cannot begin to express how relieved I am knowing this product is so easily accessible, and fairly costed. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel more people should know about this! (Especially those suffering with PD) 5 stars!!!"

The only product to cure skin damage caused by the

"I was prescribed Epaderm ointment by my GP following on from an operation to insert a Pace maker which resulted in a skin rash. I later bought some cream to help clear up a couple of skin lesion on my scalp caused by sun damage. I had tried other treatments before but this was the only one to cure the problem. I have suffered from this damage on my ears as well, caused from skiing when in the UK Forces."

Better than any post-shave balm

"Been using Epaderm ointment for over a decade. I use it on my face after shaving and showering. Only needs a tiny amount. Without it, my face skin feels dry and itchy."

Dan (5/5)

Bset ever solution

"I am bald and over the years developed tough skin on my scalp which is annoying. I have tried dozens of supposed remedies but non have had any affect. At last I bought Epaderm and the results are fantastic. Compared with so called creans which are dedicated to bald scalps this is a superb product and more than half the price."

Holy grail

"I found this cream when searching endlessly on TikTok on how to ease eczema and seborrheic dermatitis. I had an awful flare up on my neck, I didn’t want to use my prescribed steroid cream. Thankfully I came across this cream. After a warm shower I’d put this cream onto the affected areas, a nice thick layer without rubbing it is. Within 2 days it started to notice a massive difference, it started to clear. Within a week you wouldn’t have known I had a skin issue. Top tip, a thick layer on top of the skin after a shower. Do not rub in, but let your skin absorb the cream. Use the cream a few times a day. Avoid hot water. Good luck everyone"

Megan (5/5)

Reduced redness significantly in two days

"Had a bad flare up of eczema on my face/around my eye for about a month, I would wake up several times in the night due to itchiness. Tried so many different creams to try reduce the redness of my eczema and nothing seemed to work long term. Went to a pharmacist as trying to stay away from using steroid creams (especially around my eye) and they gave me the Epaderm ointment. In just two days the redness had gone down significantly and the itching had pretty much stopped and I was able to get a full nights sleep. Don’t usually write reviews but this ointment has made such a big difference in such a small amount of time. Could not recommend more!"

Pete (5/5)

Great moisturiser and no waste!

"Great moisturiser and also an ingenious vacuum system for dispensing all the cream without any wastage or trying to scrape the last bit out!"

Sue (5/5)

Great product

"I got this, when I had problem with dry skin and this works well. It don’t really have a smell and consistency is like Vaseline, but works wonderfully. Definitely recommend for dry skin problems!"

Kate (5/5)

Helpful for eczema

"I used this on my son when he was little and myself for eczema flar ups, usually back of the knee, crook of the elbow etc. It's a thick cream that helps moisturise the area and relieve the dryness and itch. You can also use it as a soap but I have never suffered badly enough for that."

NaughtyLulu (4/5)

Okay product

"Very thick and sticks to everything which makes it hard to spread, but very effective at treating dry skin conditions."
