The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)* recommends washing with emollients rather than detergents or soaps, as these can increase water loss from the skin. Using Epaderm Cream or Ointment as a skin cleanser helps ensure that dry skin can be properly washed, without losing additional moisture.

Dispense or scoop a small amount onto your hand, rub over your body under warm water and then use as a normal shower gel. You will notice Epaderm products do not foam, but they does leave your body clean.
